Neffertee Rich, MA, LPCC
Founder & President
Neffertee Rich is the Founder and Executive Director of Restoration Shelter and brings more than 15 years of experience counseling women, children, and families. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of Ohio. As both a licensed clinician and entrepreneur, Neffertee has successfully owned and operated a small business for over a decade. During the past year and a half, she has led the development and growth of Restoration Shelter, establishing the organization’s policies, procedures, intake processes, resident programming, and operational framework. Under her leadership, the shelter has successfully provided safe housing, case management, counseling, and supportive services to women and children while building a strong foundation for long-term sustainability. Her passion is helping women rebuild their lives through healing, accountability, and practical support.

Lucas Harris
Co-Founder
Lucas Harris serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Restoration Shelter, Inc. He brings valuable experience in business operations, facilities management, and organizational support. As Vice President, Lucas works closely with the President and Board to support strategic initiatives, organizational growth, and operational planning. He assists with property management, maintenance coordination, and organizational projects that contribute to providing a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents. Lucas is committed to supporting Restoration Shelter's mission by helping strengthen the organization's operational foundation and ensuring it continues to grow its capacity to serve women and families in need.

Marilyn Preston
Treasurer
Marilyn Preston serves as Treasurer of Restoration Shelter, Inc. She brings more than 15 years of management experience across residential programs, hospitals, call centers, and customer service operations. Marilyn completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training and is currently pursuing her Peer Recovery Supporter certification. Since joining Restoration Shelter, Marilyn has played a vital leadership role in the organization's growth and daily operations. She has provided case management, facilitated support groups, assisted with resident services, coordinated program operations, and helped oversee the day-to-day functioning of the shelter. Her hands-on leadership has contributed to creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for women and families working toward stability and independence. As Treasurer, Marilyn provides financial oversight to the Board by reviewing financial reports, monitoring budgets, supporting sound fiscal practices, and promoting responsible stewardship of the organization's resources. Her operational leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to accountability help strengthen the financial stability and long-term sustainability of Restoration Shelter. Marilyn is dedicated to advancing Restoration Shelter's mission through ethical leadership, responsible financial oversight, and compassionate service to the women and families the organization serves.

Nolitta Berger
Secretary
Nolitta Berger serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Restoration Shelter, Inc. She is responsible for supporting the Board's governance by maintaining accurate corporate records and ensuring official Board actions are properly documented. As Secretary, Nolitta oversees Board meeting minutes, governance records, and organizational documentation while helping ensure compliance with the Corporation's Bylaws and applicable nonprofit governance requirements. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accountability support the Board's effectiveness and transparency. Nolitta is dedicated to advancing Restoration Shelter's mission by helping maintain strong governance practices that promote organizational integrity, responsible leadership, and long-term success.

Aiko Mesias
Website Designer
Aiko Mesias serves as the Website Designer for Restoration Shelter, Inc., where she combines creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for nonprofit storytelling to create a meaningful digital presence. She is responsible for designing and maintaining the organization's website, ensuring it is visually engaging, user-friendly, and effectively communicates the mission, programs, and impact of Restoration Shelter. With extensive experience supporting nonprofit organizations, Aiko specializes in website design, graphic design, digital branding, content management, and user experience. She works closely with the leadership team to develop web content that informs, inspires, and connects survivors, donors, volunteers, and community partners with the organization's services and mission. Through thoughtful design and strategic presentation, she helps transform complex information into accessible, impactful online experiences. Aiko believes that a website is more than a digital platform—it is often the first opportunity to build trust, share hope, and inspire action.
